Senator Lawson introduces Senate Bill 53 to curtail youth violence

Finding methods to end violent crime in Delaware has been the hallmark of Senator Lawson’s career, from his time as a Delaware State Trooper until now, as a State Senator.
That is why he introduced Senate Bill 53, which creates a risk assessment tool and establishes a mechanism to allow state law enforcement and social services agencies to better share pertinent data with each other. In turn, Senator Lawson believes we can be better equipped to prevent youth violence and create a healthier living environment throughout our state.
With bipartisan support, Lawson looks forward to working with colleagues on both sides of the aisle on this and other important measures to make Delaware a safer, more prosperous state to live.
