Nighttime Openings of Lewes & Rehoboth Drawbridges for Testing

DelDOT announces to motorists that their contractor is planning to perform nighttime testing of the drawbridges. The testing involves the opening and closing of the bridges. In between the bridge openings, traffic and pedestrians will be able to cross the bridges.

Times and Dates:

• 8 PM on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 until 6 AM on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, pending weather.

Locations:

• Lewes Drawbridge over Lewes-Rehoboth Canal between Savannah Road and Anglers Road, Lewes.
• Rehoboth Drawbridge over Lewes-Rehoboth Canal on Route 1A/Rehoboth Avenue between Canal Street and Atlantic Avenue, Rehoboth.
