Lewes to Georgetown Trail Maintenance Project Will Require Temporary Closure of Trail

The Delaware Department of Transportation announces that a closure is required to perform routine trail maintenance on the Lewes to Georgetown trail. This maintenance will include the following: removal of any hazardous trees adjacent to the trail and any deadwood located directly above the trail.
Times and Dates of Closure: 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting on Monday, March 22, 2021 through Thursday, March 25, 2021, pending weather.
Rain Dates: Friday, March 26, 2021 AND Monday, March 29, 2021 through Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Location: Lewes to Georgetown Trail from Log Cabin Hill Road to Nassau Road, Lewes.
