DelDOT Traffic Alert: Closure of Robinson Drive for Sidewalk Project

Rehoboth: The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that Robinson Drive between Route 1/Coastal Highway and Silver Lake Drive will be closed starting on March 1, 2021 through April 30, 2021, pending weather.

The closure is necessary for the installation of sidewalks, ADA ramps, drainage, and resurfacing of the road. The purpose of this project is to create a safer access route for pedestrians along this route.

At all times, local traffic and residents will have access.

Detour Routes:

Eastbound: Motorists will take Bayard Avenue/Silver Lake Drive to Rehoboth Avenue and turn left on Rehoboth Avenue to State Street. Motorists will turn left onto State Street and then left onto Route 1/Coastal Highway.

Westbound: Motorists will take Route 1/ Coastal Highway to Route 1B Exit onto State Street. Motorists will turn right onto Rehoboth Avenue and then a right onto Bayard Avenue/Silver Lake Drive.

Detour signage will be posted for motorists.
